Although little is known about Buddha's life, these Buddha statements demonstrate his timeless philosophy.
Historians say he was born in Nepal in the 5th or 6th century BC as Prince Siddhartha Gautama. In his twenties, the prince saw facts from the outer world that inspired him to seek enlightenment. He left the palace in pursuit of it, and he eventually found it.
He attained Buddhahood at that point.
Buddha taught many people how to obtain enlightenment till he died at the age of 80. His teachings later evolved into what is now known as Buddhism.
